Swamiji offers deep healing meditations for people in recovery


Q. Would you like to organize a  yoga / meditation workshop with Swamiji?

A. Anybody can organize a retreat / meditation.  If you get together a group of students who are interested in having a meditation, then Swami Kripananda  will make himself available to conduct it for you.. An existing Meditation / Retreat Center are a great help since the space is conducive for yoga and meditation. Alternatively, it is possible to rent a school hall or a town hall for the occasion.  In this case all participants need to make appropriate arrangements for their boarding and lodging if the program is for more than a day.  Most weekend  retreats/meditations include light relaxation exercises blended with meditation, healing sessions and yoga philosophy.  Meditation intensives are also available on request.

Happening this month


1) Monday Meditations in West Seattle (Lynne's Place) are going on as usual.  For further information please call: 206-369-1836 (suggested donation $10).

a) 7 pm Yoga Class.

b) 8 pm one hour meditation. (suggested donation $15).

Who can attend

Q. Who can attend Swami Kripananda’s Yoga and Meditations Sessions?
. Anybody can attend the meditations conducted by Swami Kripananda. Beginners are welcome to the retreats.  If you have a medical condition, however, it is important that you consult with your doctor and inform us about the condition so we can make the necessary preparations to accommodate you.

Q. What do I bring with me for the Meditation?
For the meditation, it helps to bring along a meditation seat or cushion. If you do not have one we will try and provide you with one. 

Q. What do I wear for the retreat?
. Please dress comfortably. It may be necessary to carry a meditation cushion, or a bolster for the healing meditations. Some meditations are done on straight backed chairs.
