Much  traveled and greatly loved by his followers, Swami Kripananda is a healer of extraordinary abilities.      Swami Kripananda was introduced to yoga in 1983. A couple of years later he started training with the legendary Yoga Teacher Mr. B.K.S Iyengar. He was initiated into the Science of Shaktipat Meditation by His Holiness Swami Shivom Tirth Maharaj of the Tirtha lineage in the same year.

He received his second initiation from His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Swami Arjun Puri Maharaj in 2005. He left India for his travels abroad in 1998.

     He presently lives on the West Coast of the United States.
