13th pose
Dandasana (The Stick Posture)
Danda = Stick
Asana = Posture
This pose is also referred to as the stick posture. This is because when
the practitioner sits in this posture the legs are extended in front of
him and the knees are locked in postion. This resembles a stick and
hence the name dandasana.
Sit on the floor with both legs
extended in front of you.
This is dandasana.
